Per Burchardt  
Mr. Burchardt moved from Norway to earn a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Wyoming in 1977. Following employment with Exxon and Anadarko in Louisiana, Kansas and Colorado as a senior reservoir and production engineer, he founded Norstar Petroleum Inc. in 1989. His experience at the time included onshore and offshore reservoir and operational experience in oil and gas properties, water-flooding, CO2, polymer, chemical flooding and joint operations. Mr. Burchardt has been responsible for the consistent growth of the company throughout the many business cycles. Mr. Burchardt is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado, and has been a long-term volunteer Board Member of the Denver Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
  Patsy Botts  
  Land Manager  
Ms. Botts is a Certified Professional Landman and serves as Land Manager for Norstar Petroleum Inc. She has been employed by Norstar since 2001 and oversees land, leasing and the legal matters for the corporation. She began her landman career in 1974 working for numerous companies in both Denver and San Antonio, Texas. During this time, she earned a Bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State College in Business Management and an MBA in Finance from Regis University. Ms. Botts is a member of the DAPL, WAPL, and AAPL.
  Beth Breithaupt  
  Office Manager  
Mrs. Breithaupt came to Norstar in 2008 with over 30 years of oil and gas experience. Beginning with a small, independent oil and gas exploration company in the Denver area in 1975, she has worked for a range of companies varying in size from small to very large, which afforded her the opportunity to gain extensive experience in all phases of office administration including land tech, lease analysis, contract administration and preparation, accounting, IT support, facilities, HR, business start-up, and regulatory/compliance matters. Her work experience includes 15 years with Burlington Resources Inc., as well as positions with Terra Resources, Inc., Williams Exploration Company, and CH2M Hill. In addition, Mrs. Breithaupt has owned and operated a successful business consulting company in Denver for 10 years, and previously served a 3 year term on the Board of Directors of a mid-size non-profit organization on the DU campus.
  Robert E. Elder  
  Geological Manager  
Mr. Elder graduated from Fort Hays State University with a Degree in Geology in 1980. Mr. Elder serves as Geological Manager for Norstar Petroleum Inc. He has been involved in the oil and gas business beginning in 1980 with 28 years experience principally in Kansas. He previously served as Exploration Manager for an independent oil and gas company where he was responsible for the development of the Stewart Field (>10 MMBO) located in Finney County, Kansas, and was responsible for developing oil and gas prospects and reviewing third party prospects for acquisition. Mr. Elder brings extensive experience planning, coordinating and interpreting geophysical surveys to Norstar, along with extensive wellsite supervision expe-rience as an independent consulting geologist. He also worked 16 years as a geologist in the environmental services industry, including 11 years for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Mr. Elder is a State of Kansas licensed geologist (No. 46).
